Rantasarka covers an area of 4 hectares in Virpiniemi some 20 km north of Oulu.
Surrounded by forest, the all-grass site is peaceful and welcoming. The beach where guests can swim in the summer is 150 m from the site.

The forest and exercise paths and disc golf course of the Virpiniemi Sports Institute are next door and, in the autumn, the forests around the caravan park grow wild berries and mushrooms free to pick. In the winter, the Virpiniemi area and the sea ice boasts a network of well-maintained skiing tracks.
Excellent pedestrian routes offer good conditions for cycling, roller skating, roller skiing and jogging.

Operating instructions for the area in the winter season 1.10. – 30.4.
The passenger declaration, bank transfer form and envelope can be found at the desk on the
terrace of the office. The payment can be made either as an online bank payment or in cash.
Fill out the passenger declaration and bank transfer form, put it in an envelope and drop it in
the mailbox by the door.
In the bank transfer, specify the area fee and other fees for accounting purposes. Also enter
the car’s registration number on the form.
Park in drive-through places no. 69 – 77.
Prices:
• For members of SFC-association 018 €20.00/day
• SFC member €24.00/day
• Non-SFC members €39.00/day
Prices include electricity and sauna, but not heating electricity.
• Heating electricity €13.00/day
• Private sauna €14.00/50 min.
• Use of the washing machine €3.00
The sauna in the Sarkatupa building heats up automatically with the timer of the weekly clock
every day.
General sauna shifts are included in the regional price. Men and women have their own sauna
shifts. Sauna shifts can be seen next to the Sarkatupa building door and on the notice board
on the wall of building Sarkapirtti.
You can book private sauna sift at building Sarkapirtti sauna from 18:00 to 21:50 for €14.00/50
min. The reservation list can be found in the corridor of building Sarkapirtti.
You can get limited office service (e.g. buying gas) by contacting the holder of the place
marked with a black magnet on the area map on the wall of the office.

PLAYGROUND RULES (issued under Consumer Protection Act 920/2011, section 7)

All noisy activities are prohibited in the caravan park between 23:00 and 07:00. This rule also applies to the playground.
Any faults or breakages in the playground or its fixtures and equipment must be immediately reported to the area supervisors.
The supervision of children while at the playground is the responsibility of their parents or guardians (Act 361/1983, section 1).
The playground may be closed at any time due to adverse weather conditions; the area supervisors will notify the users of the closure.
